Bio

Niamh Murphy is a historian and novelist specialising in romantic lesbian fiction.

In 2012 she committed to writing professionally and published her debut novel ‘Mask of the Highwaywoman’, a swashbuckling historical romance. She went on to complete a Masters Degree in creative writing at the University of Essex in 2016 and is now working on her new novel ‘Escape to Pirate Island’.

She currently lives in the historic town of Colchester, England, where she can indulge her passion for archaeology and history. Her greatest ambition is to own a medieval castle, complete with turrets, towers, a moat, and a drawbridge.
