BioMy name is Natalie Hames and I'm an English author from the North Nottinghamshire borders a stones throw away from Sherwood Forest. I live with my two children and rescued Boxer dog whom I refer to as my 'third child.' When I'm not writing crime fiction based around the East End of London I can usually be found spending time with my children and walking the family dog. Even though Sherwood Forest is only a short drive away I've has yet to see any men wearing green tights!
I have a passion for noir, crime thrillers with a twist and police procedurals, especially when they involve a big dose of corruption. My first series is called The East End Noir Series and my main character DS Connolly frequently bends (or snaps) the rules to get justice. I always will write in UK English as there's nothing more irritating for a reader when a British author tries to pass themselves off as an American so please don't mistake this for typo's or grammatical errors.
The first book in my debut series is currently free and you can grab yourself a copy via the link below.
