Helena Halme


Former BBC journalist, magazine editor and bookseller, Helena's articles have been published in the CoScan Magazine, The ScanMag and the Finn-Guild Magazine. Currently full-time author and mentor, Helena also acts as Nordic Ambassador for The Alliance of Independent Authors.
In 2004 Helena took an MA in Creative Writing and went on to publish five novels, including The Englishman, a best-selling novel, which won an Awesome Indies badge on publication. Her latest title, The Good Officer, is the fourth book in The Englishman Navy fiction series, which follows the tumultuous love affair between the Finnish Kaisa and British Navy officer, Peter.
